I recently saw this cc cream in makeup artist Lisa Eldridge’s recent newsletter as one of her favorites. Well you know what that means??!! I had to have it!! It doesn’t appear to be sold in the US yet so I had to order it on the internet from an oversea’s site. I didn’t mind waiting for the package to arrive since I have an over abundance of foundations and cc creams in my collection anyway.
This product is labeled as a Daily Unifying Complete Correction Cream for Redness-Prone Sensitive Skin. It is from France, therefore most of the text on the packaging is in French. It has an spf of 30 which is a good amount of sun protection. The pump dispenser is sanitary and easy to use. I paid almost $22 plus shipping for 50 ml, which is equivalent to 1.69 ounces. I felt that this was a reasonable price given the product itself.
This cc cream is currently available in only one medium, yellow toned shade. Therefore, it’s not going to work for everyone. I am lucky in that I wear medium shade foundations that tend to be in the yellow or warmer tones. This cc cream provided a light coverage for me. I will mention that last week when I took this photo and used this product daily that my skin was having a terrible flare up of both rosacea and some acne. I don’t like to cake a lot of products on top of problem skin. I prefer to treat the skin and protect it. Therefore this light coverage was enough for me.
I’ve tried applying the product several different ways to see which method works best. I used a Beauty Blender, a foundation brush and my fingers. I prefer using the fingers best for a streak free application. The Beauty Blender worked well to add a little more product to the places it was needed.
My overall impression of this product is that it is nice if you want light coverage with a good spf that will not irritate the skin. I don’t think it’s an “out of the ballpark” product that must be ordered today from an oversea’s site. I think you can wait until this one shows up here in the US. I give this product a thumbs up!
