Hi Makeup Obsessed ladies, I am here today to share the January Target Beauty Box. This month they offered two separate boxes, and I picked the box that contained Target brand beauty supplies. I’ve been happy with most of the Target brands I’ve used in the past, and couldn’t wait to try more. Let’s dive right in.
I was intrigued right away with the Soap & Glory Sexy Mother Pucker XXL Lipgloss I received in the color Pinkwell. I hadn’t tried the Soap & Glory Brand before, so I couldn’t wait to see what it was all about.
I will say that I loved the color, but didn’t really notice much plumping.
I’ve never used a lip plumping gloss before, and the tingling was intense! Not painful, but definitely noticeable.
I also couldn’t wait to try the Soap & Glory The Righteous Body Butter. I immediately grabbed it and opened it up to use on my chapped hands.
I was a little put-off by the smell at first. It was almost a little chemical-ly (like the word I just created??) The smell quickly dissipated, and I loved how it melted right into my dry skin. It really kept my hands feeling good through several hand washes.
The next three items I had to try were the No. 7 Airbrush Away Primer, No. 7 Restore & Renew Face & Neck Multiaction Serum, and the Botanics Shine Away Clay Mask. I am no stranger to the No. 7 brand, and have always loved their products.
I have been using the No. 7 Restore & Renew Face & Neck Multiaciton Serum
for a week, and I like the consistency and feel of the product. Although I haven’t noticed a ton of difference in my skin or neck yet, I will continue to use it and hope for the best.
I really liked the consistency of the No. 7 Airbrush Away Primer
but it didn’t seem to do as much as my tried and true primer. I did like it, and it would be great for someone who doesn’t have as large of pores as I do. Trust me, my pores and skin are not my strong suit. I have to use a lot of products to be presentable.
I know you guys couldn’t wait to see it on. It was super easy and quick to use, and my skin seemed to really love it. It was softer and smoother after I used the mask. I assumed “shine away” was meant to help keep the shine away, and it has definitely done what it says it will do. I have noticed that I’ve gone much longer than usual without blotting or applying power to keep the shine away.
The Sleek MakeUP Eyeshadow Palette scared me a bit. I don’t usually wear eyeshadow, and I almost never wear shimmery eyeshadow.
Here are the colors in the set.
I numbered the colors I used and explained where I used each one in the photo above. I was pleasantly surprised how much I liked them after I applied them.
And here is a complete photo wearing the No. 7 Airbrush Away Primer, the Sleek Eyeshadow and the Soap & Glory Lipgloss.
The January Beauty Boxes are sold out, but you can still purchase the products separately. I am a huge fan of being able to try out products so I always jump to purchase the boxes as soon as they are available. You have to purchase them ASAP, because they go quickly.
Hope you enjoyed peeking in to the January Target Beauty Box with me today!
