My First Beauty Box for 2020

I don’t know why, but I still love getting beauty subscription boxes in the mail every month. There’s something about the element of surprise. Or maybe it’s like receiving a gift. I’m not good at receiving gifts from other because I think I’m more of a giver, so these boxes are sort of a gift to myself. I just opened my first beauty box for 202o and was pretty happy with the contents.

The lone box that I still subscribe to is BoxyCharm. The box is just $25 per month for full size products only. I think this program is worth the money that I pay. I usually love every single item in the monthly box. On a rare occasion I give items away because they’re not my favorite color or the shade or formula isn’t good for me.

Verdict: I’m obsessed with everything in the January Boxycharm. The skincare items that I received are both high quality with fantastic reputations. As far as the makeup, I love trying out new mascaras. The eyeshadow palette is a little bright for me on it’s own, however there are so many shades that I know I can/will use as part of my daily looks. The concealer sounds nice and is a good match for me as far as the shade.
