I recently saw an Instagram picture of a beautiful eye shadow palette. When I saw the picture I just knew that I had to have it. Unfortunately, by the time I got to the website to order it, it was sold out. Luck for me, the Violet Voss Holy Grail palette was re-stocked long enough for me to get one for myself. I will start by saying that it was love at first site upon unboxing the palette.
Violet Voss is a professional makeup line. I personally had not heard of it until I saw the picture on Instagram. You can visit the website to see all of the products in the line. This palette contains 20 highly pigmented eye shadows in a variety of finishes. The palette is the cardboard type with a large mirror inside the lid. It retails for $52.
Not only am I in love with every single eye shadow color in this palette, but the names of each shadow are ridiculously fun and appropriate for my lifestyle! Haha! Don’t you agree? All of the shadows are smooth and creamy, which makes them easy to blend. I’ve swatched one row of shadows below to show you a sampling. These are single swatches with no primer on my wrist.

Verdict: Move over Urban Decay Naked Palette and hello to my new Holy Grail eye shadow palette!! I love the smooth creamy feeling of these eye shadows. I love the assortment of colors in this palette. The shadows are definitely highly pigmented and blend effortlessly. I obviously highly recommend that everyone stalk the Violet Voss website to get one of these palettes.

I’ve seen photos of this floating around IG too, and it always catches my eye! I’m going to buy some of the Natasha Denona palettes soon, those look amazing too!
