GA-DE Cosmetics – A New Line I’m Trying Out

I had the opportunity to review GA-DE Cosmetics through Massive Sway and a sampling program in exchange for my honest review. This post is not sponsored and all my opinions are my own.

Do you like trying out new makeup brands or do you stick with your old favorites?  I love trying new brands and recently received a makeup bag of GA-DE cosmetics to try.  I’ve been using these products throughout the past month and am excited to share my thoughts with you.

 

About the brand:

“The GA-DE brand (pronounced Jade) is an award-winning cosmetics, skincare and perfumery company based in Israel.  They were founded in 1985 and branched out to international markets in 1990.  GA-DE has a range of products to suit all skin types, and makeup that is practical, wearable and timeless for an effortless and elegant look – GA-DE is your everyday makeup that enhances your own beauty, rather than altering it.” 

This beautiful bronze makeup bag was filled with 4 GA-DE products for me to try out.  Right off the bat, I loved the shades of copper and rose gold that I was seeing.  These neutral shades are right up my alley and are perfect for everyday wear.

• There are 2 different gloss formulas in the line.  I received one from the Crystal Lights collection which is described as “a moisturizing lip gloss that imparts sophisticated shine and stunning color for subtle everyday glamour.”  The gloss comes in a square tube that automatically lights up when you twist it open.  The tube has a mirror on the side to make application a breeze, day or night.  I immediately noticed the sweet fragrance of the gloss.  I like the way this beautiful peachy nude color applies.  However, I will warn you that the gloss contains glitter which may stick around after the lipstick and gloss wear off.  This product retails for $20.
• There are several different lipstick formulas from the line.  This one that I received is from the True Color Satin Lipstick collection which is a creamy lipstick with full coverage and a rich satin finish.  It’s highly pigmented and applies smoothly to my lips. The lipstick is in the shade Papaya Sorbet.  It’s a deeper nude that glides right on.  These retail for $17 each.

• The Crystallic Luminous Silky Blush is to die for!  I have the shade Jewel and it really is a jewel.  It’s embossed with their iconic woven motif embellished with a subtle lace design.  Isn’t it so pretty to look at?!  The blush collection is described as: “formulated with an amino acid complex for optimal hydration, this new generation technology features an innovative blend of spherical powders and polymers infused with ultra-fine pigments and multi-reflective crystal pearls that glide smoothly over the skin, as well as a luminosity-boosting agent that captures light perfectly.”  You can see in my swatch below how beautiful the glow is.  I don’t need any highlight over it because it’s perfection just the way it is.

Verdict:  The products that I tried from GA-De Cosmetics were very nice.  This is a very small sampling of the products that they carry, so I hope you’ll go check out their website to see what they carry.  I think you’ll be impressed with the quality.  The blush was definitely my favorite from the products that I tried.   I will say that I haven’t had the chance to try the nail polish yet.  It’s a beautiful metallic rose gold in the shade Secret Dream that will be perfect for my fingers and toes next time I have myself a little spa day.
