Hi everyone! Welcome to Friday Favorites! In honor of Memorial Day weekend I thought I’d share some of my favorite places to travel. I’d been fortunate to have traveled all over the world. I won’t be traveling myself this weekend due to my son’s graduation festivities. That’s okay though since I know there will be a lot of traveling happening this summer. Below are some of my favorite places that I’ve traveled to, however there are many more.
Hawaii: Hands down Hawaii is my favorite place on earth. I’ve probably been to Hawaii at least a dozen times. I tell people that Hawaii is like heaven on earth to me. I could sit and breathe in the fresh air and stare at the ocean for hours.
London: I’ve been to London three times. I feel like I never get enough time there with each of my visits. There’s so much to see and do in London. I enjoy all of the sightseeing, shopping and shows. London has the best of all three.
NYC: Yes, I love the hustle and bustle of New York City, but I think I love Central Park the most. This park right in the middle of a busy city is beautiful and a great place to walk in the spring and summer. I was actually born in New York and lived there until I was 10 years old. I have so many fond memories of going into New York City as a child.
Rome: A few years back we took a cruise on the Mediterranean. We stopped in many beautiful places throughout Italy but I think Rome was my favorite. I always find it interesting to see the places in person that you’ve heard about or read about for as long as you can remember. Sightseeing and pizza are two of the things that I remember most from this stop.
Whistler, British Columbia: I love visiting places that are winter ski destinations, except that I prefer to visit these places during the summer months. They are definitely cooler than Texas this time of year so it’s nice to go cool off and do outdoor activities in comfortable temperatures.
