There are some beauty products that take me a year to use up. However, foundation is not one of them. I frequently buy, try and use up foundation on a fairly regular basis. I’m going to share my favorite foundations for 2015 with you here today. These are the products that worked well for me and my 50-year-old skin this past year. None of these are specifically designed for mature skin. They’re all great for all ages and skin types. I wouldn’t say that any one particular product is my absolute favorite because each one serves its own purpose and I love them all!
Tinted Moisturizers
Kimiko Hydrating Tint is a weightless, antioxidant-rich mineral tint moisturizer delivers a beautifully natural glow to the skin. It has an spf of 20. I love this for days I need moisture under my foundation or just on its own for a fresh look with light coverage.
Nars Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer gives a nice light coverage which is buildable. It has an spf of 30, which I love. You can use this alone or layer your foundation over it. I’ve repurchased this one more than once.
BB Creams and CC Creams
I am a HUGE fan of bb creams and cc creams. They’re multi purpose products to usually contain skin improving ingredients, high amounts of spf and decent coverage.
Avon BB Cream is thicker than most other bb creams that I’ve tried (especially the US ones). It gives good medium to full coverage, which surprised me (in a good way).
Pur CC Cream is a long time favorite of mine. I’ve purchased it over and over again. I love the way this cc cream fills in my large pores and gives a dewy type finish.
It Cosmetics CC Cream is a favorite of almost every person I know that has used it. It leaves a beautiful finish with medium to full coverage, depending on how I apply it. I prefer to use a round top kabuki or a beauty blender.
Chanel CC Cream is another high spf (50) formula that gives a nice finish with extra moisture for my skin. I wear the number 40 shade (beige) in the summer and probably need to get a lighter color now that it’s winter.
Foundations
Make Up For Ever Ultra HD is the newest of the HD formulas from this line. I originally purchased it way back at the Makeup Show in Dallas before it was released. I loved the formula but was mis-matched in the shade. I have recently gotten the correct shade and love this foundation. It literally makes the skin look air brushed.
No Worries, No Sweat Foundation is a wonderful foundation, especially for the warm and sticky summer months. It gives whatever type of coverage that you’re seeking because you mix it up each time you apply it. You can go from sheer to full coverage depending on the number of drops you add when mixing. Full review is HERE. I also included it in my Youtube video HERE showing how I apply it.
The Covergirl Outlast 3-in-1 is a long time favorite of mine from the drugstore. It gives me a beautiful airbrushed type finish, especially when applied with the beauty blender. This is another one that I’ve repurchased.
Did you have any favorite foundations this year? If so, I’d love to know what they are.

I still haven’t tried MUFE Ultra HD because I’ve got so much of the Velvet Mat left, but I’d love to try it. In addition to IT CC Cream that I adore, I’m loving Bobbi Brown Skin Foundation and NARS All Day Weightless Foundation because they are so lightweight. Lumene CC Cream is another fave of mine.

I love the It Cosmetics CC cream! Another fantastic one is the Peter Thomas Roth CC cream, the coverage is amazing! I ran out of mine a few months ago, and keep meaning to repurchase.

I haven’t tried any of these except the IT Cosmetics CC Cream, which I love. My favourite foundation last year was the Cover FX Custom Cover Drops. It helped me get out of the house when I had massive acne.
