I was sent the Derma-E Essentials Radiance Toner Glycolic Acid & Rooibos, and Illuminating Rosehip & Cranberry Face Oil. I’ve added them both to my nighttime routine for the last month. I love, LOVE the toner! It’s gentle with a great night scent, and really helps to get all of the gunk off my face that I didn’t realize was still there after I cleanse.
I was so excited to try the Illuminating Rosehip & Cranberry Face Oil, I’d been wanting to try a face oil for a long time since I tend to get dry patches around my mouth and nose. Here’s a picture of the consistency.
Sadly, my face started to break out after the first week. I’m not sure if the face oil was the culprit for sure, but I did quit using it and feel like my face cleared up. I loved the feel of the face oil, it just melted right into my skin with the slightest pleasant scent. Apparently face oil is too much for my skin, so I’ve cut back and now am trying it in small amounts to see if it caused the breakouts.
I have already added the Derma-E Essentials Toner to my nighttime routine, and would definitely look into trying more of their products.

Me, too! I’m hoping it was just a glitch and I plan to try it again in a few weeks. I have super dry skin, so fingers crossed this will help.
DermaE has come out with so many great products. I’m sorry their oil broke you out but there are some great facial oils around.

If your skin has been behaving nicely with other topical products you’re using and you broke out by introducing a new one, yes it is the culprit. This happened to me many times that’s why I am really very careful not to disrupt the homeostasis.
They have some great products but I always have to watch out for lavender oil.
