The Delectables Palette

August 21, 2015

Looking for a new eyeshadow palette?  I wasn’t either, but when I stumbled upon the Laura Geller Delectables palette while shopping in Ulta for something totally unrelated, I knew that there was no way I could leave the store without purchasing this one.  There are two options available.  One is cooler shades and one is warmer.  I got the one that’s warm which is “delicious shades of nude.”  That would be no surprise to most who know me because those are the types of shades that I wear most frequently.  The palette retails for $45 and can be purchased at Ulta and other places that sell Laura Geller.

This palette has 14 nude shades of Laura Geller’s new weightless baked eye shadow.  There is a nice combination of shimmery and matte shades.  You can apply these either dry or wet.  I like to use a combination of shadow colors on the lid.  I sometimes add a shadow to the upper and lower lash line as a liner, depending on the intensity of the look that I’m going for.  There is a small brush included with the palette which I have found useful for applying shadow to the lash line.  However, I find the brush to be useless for applying the eye shadow to the lid.

When purchasing this palette, the sales associate told me that she heard that these shadows might produce fallout.  However, I have not found that to be the case at all.  I’ve actually used all 14 shades by now.  I use a shadow primer on my lids to prepare them for the eye shadow.  The colors all apply smoothly and stay all day without a single crease.

Verdict:  I think everyone should own this palette.  If you like to wear nude shades and earth tones on your eyes you will love the versatility of the Laura Geller Delectables palette.  The options are endless!  To purchase the palette or get more information please click HERE.

I love this beautiful new print with the gold foil and I love that there are options in the fabric. The cotton is lightweight and lovely and the Jude cloth feels amazing and is a workhorse because it doesn’t wrinkle, even when worn all day.

You can’t go wrong with either dress. Which style is your favorite?🤩

If you think us ladies of “a certain age” are too If you think us ladies of “a certain age” are too old for matte lipstick, then it’s a good thing this video landed in your feed! The new Colour Riche Blurred Matte Lipstick from @lorealparis is nothing like those terrible mattes of the past that dried out our lips and emphasized lip lines and wrinkles.

Available in 10 different shades, their new formula glides on smoothly like a balm and hydrates. It blurs out the appearance of the lines in my lips and just helps me feel more confident.

I’m wearing #590 🍓Blushing Berry🍓 Are you ready to try it?

Casual and chic is what I call my style and this o Casual and chic is what I call my style and this outfit checks all the boxes. It’s perfect for Spring.

They also have a matching stretch denim jacket that I have on my wish list. You can see a few more of my favorite pieces from this brand in my feed.

I’m 5’1” wearing size small in both pieces. The embellished pearl stud stretch denim jeans are cropped on others but longer on me so they’re definitely petite friendly which is a win!💗
