Looking for a nice drugstore foundation that works with aging skin? I purchased the new Covergirl Stay Luminous Natural Glow foundation from my local drugstore a few weeks ago. The cost of this product is $11.99 for 1 fluid ounce. Drugstore makeup can almost always be found on sale. Check around for the best price in your area. The foundation comes in a nice glass pump style container. It is easy to use. For reference, I wear Mac Cosmetics shade NW25 in most of their foundations. In the Covergirl Stay Luminous foundation I wear the shade Medium Beige (842). The Walgreen’s store where I made my purchase had testers of all of the colors so I was able to swatch to find my exact match. That’s always a bonus to me. The foundation is available in seven different shades.
I’ve had the opportunity to wear the foundation and test it out on several occasions and in the heat of summer here in Texas. For reference, I am fifty years old with combination skin. I do have fine lines and wrinkles (as much as I like to pretend that they’re not there).
Verdict: I like the packaging for this product. The glass bottle makes it feel like a luxury foundation. However, you must be careful not to drop the foundation because of the glass jar which could break if it hits the tile that’s often found in most of our bathrooms. There is no spf in this foundation. You need to put on sunscreen before applying. That’s not really a problem to me. The foundation lasted for at least 8 hours for me. I didn’t think the foundation itself gave me a luminous finish. The luminosity came from the bronzer, blush and other products that I layered over it. Overall, this is a nice drugstore foundation. I think I still prefer the Covergirl Outlast 3-in-1 foundation over this one though.
Let me know if you’ve tried the Covergirl Stay Luminous Natural Glow Foundation and what you think of it.

I love Covergirl at the drugstore because they often have testers, which is so important for color matching. Thanks for stopping by! Stacie xo
