You could say that I’ve “been around the block” with BB creams and CC creams in the past few years. I’m the gal who’s always looking for “that product” that will save me time and make me look good. It all started with the fascination of the Asian BB creams that many of us were wowed about. The problem with those was that they didn’t always match our skin tones. Then we had more “Americanized” BB creams which worked better for many of us. And then the CC creams started showing up.
CC creams are supposed to be color correcting products that are multi-taskers. For instance, they moisturize, cover our flaws, protect our skin from the sun and correct some of the damage that has already been done. I’ve tried many drugstore brands and high end brands of cc creams. This review will be for the Clinique CC Cream.
One simple step for glowing skin: hydrates, perfects, protects. The lightweight formula instantly color-corrects a range of complexion concerns. In seconds, you look like the picture of health. It brightens dullness and sallowness and diminishes redness. That gray look on darker skin tones? CC gets it glowing. Oil-free hydration and sunscreen mean a more flawless look tomorrow, too. Each versatile shade is appropriate for a range of skin tones and undertones.

This CC cream works more like a foundation for me with some extra bonus benefits. I get great medium coverage with one layer and find that it is buildable if needed. I sometimes use a setting mineral powder over the cc cream, but not on a regular basis. The finish is slightly dewy without looking shiny. I’m able to wear this every day, regardless if I’m in the house or out in the sun. It has an spf of 30, which makes me very happy
This CC Cream is available in 9 different shades. It comes in a 1.4 ounce squeeze type tube. I purchased the Medium shade at Nordstrom for $35. You can purchase this at many different retailers that sell Clinique products.

Love the finish of this product on you and have been wanting to try more BB and CC creams. My youngest daughter lifted my Dr. Jart BB cream that I kind of used on weekends and liked. But I’m old! Ha! Still feeling 23, but I’m 61 and still trying to find new products that help improve the look of my now part fine lines around the eyes, some normal skin, some dry skin areas. Oh, and new breakouts on my chin that make me feel like I’m still in puberty! Help me! Love makeup so much and have great results from some, but still looking for that something special which may turn out to be several things. Thanks for the review. Will check into samples of this one!
