Hey guys! I’m here today to introduce you to the cabi clothing spring collection, which is all about PLAY. This season’s clothes are the perfect mix of fun, daring, and surprise. They go from simple, yet sophisticated neutrals to bold pops of color. There are gorgeous bold shades of yellow, orange and green. And then there are beautiful soft pastels in pinks and purples, as well as classic neutrals in whites, tans, blues and more. There are beautiful textures in this season’s pieces, as well. You can also see a peek in my post about the cabi Fashion Week event that I attended in January HERE. As a longtime fan of cabi clothes, I really think everyone will love this season’s spring style designs as much as I do.
If you want to get the full feel for this season, I recommend watching the short video right on the cabi website. It shows a great preview of what it’s all about. I can assure that it will lift your spirits and have you ready for the new season.
The Spring collection emphasizes our love for laugher, connection and play. Therefore each group uses the word PLAY in it. There’s Playground, Playset, Playlist and more. Each group is so stunning that I can’t even pick a favorite. Everything can be worn now with simple layering techniques and then changed up in the warmer months by taking the extra layers off. cabi and their stylists are so good at demonstrating how to do this.
I hope you’re able to go to a cabi Fashion Experience in person sometime. There’s nothing like touching the clothes to feel the fabric and craftsmanship. You can also try on the clothes with your girlfriends, which is one of my favorite parts of the whole experience. If you can’t get to a show, the next best thing might be attending one of the virtual shows. It’s like a zoom call and can be just as enjoyable. Some stylists even offer private shopping experiences that accommodate shoppers at convenient times that fit into your schedule. I’ve done the first two on multiple occasions and it never gets old!
Did you know that cabi offers size inclusive clothing? They offer most items in sizes XS (size 0) through XL (size 16), however there are many items available in extended sizes this season too, from XXS ( size 00) to size 20 or XXL. Everyone deserves the right to feel confident in what they wear and cabi does a fine job at serving every woman.
I want to mention here that I am only 5’2, which is considered petite. However, I very easily make cabi’s clothing work for my body type. Here’s what I do…
I often size down one size (especially for pants). This helps to accommodate for the length of the rise, with mine being shorter than that of my average and taller friends. For the length of pants, most of cabi’s cropped length pants and cropped jeans fit me fine. The difference is that what is ankle length on me is more of a true cropped length on women of average height. I like to roll up the bottom of some jeans and I’ve even cut the bottom of some jeans and worn with a raw frayed hem too, which is pretty trendy still. On occasion, I do have pants and jeans hemmed by a tailor. By the way, cabi does offer some pants in tall lengths as well for those of you lucky ladies who were blessed with height.
For the majority of cabi tops, sweaters and toppers, I wear one size down from other brands. It can be fun to experiment with different items with tucks, knots, alternate buttoning, etc. I think cabi’s sizing is generous. However, once you know your sizing for the brand, you can usually count on it being the same for future items and collections.
