Brooke Shields for MAC Cosmetics

Brooke Shields, the beautiful actress collaborated with MAC Cosmetics for their newest collection.  I’m a huge Brooke Shields fan and a huge MAC Cosmetics fan.  This collection of mostly neutrals had my name all over it.  I watched for the launch and ordered as soon as I saw that the collection was available.  The collection includes eye shadow, nail polish, lipstick and glosses, brow products, etc.  The packaging for the collection is done in gray with orange accents and has Brooke Shield’s signature on the products.

I ordered a beautiful 15 pan eyeshadow palette called Gravitas.  I’m so happy that I watched for the release because this palette is already sold out online at the MAC website.  It’s limited edition and I’m not sure if it will replenished or not.  This palette sold for $85 and includes 15 of Brooke’s favorite cool tone shades.  The shades include Pretty, Soft Brown, Expensive Pink, Clove, Satin Taupe, Canter, Luscious, Antiqued, Psyche, Carbon, Shroom, Persuade, Plummed, Lofty and Pepper.  Of course I already owned four of the colors but still couldn’t resist having a palette with all of the shades in one place.

I also decided to try a smaller palette called Trusted Instinct, a Veluxe Pearlfusion Shadow palette.  This palette has 5 complimentary shades that are highly pearlized colors.  This palette sold for $44.  There is an additional palette available in this collection called Mortal that is equally as beautiful.

If you want to try these and all of the other items in this collection I suggest you go to your local MAC counters and department stores as soon as the collection is released everywhere on October 2nd.  If you LOVE neutral shadows as much as I do then you won’t be disappointed.
