Do you love receiving surprise boxes in the mail that are filled with beauty products? Join the club! These are my favorite types of boxes to find on my front door step. Every year Beautylish (a beauty product website based out of California) offers the Beautylish Lucky Bag right around January 1st. These bags sell for $75 each and are like mystery grab bags for beauty junkies. I’ve purchased just one of these in the past, missed last year’s bag and was lucky to snag one again this year. My previous bag was pretty good and this year’s bag was pretty nice as well.
Everyone gets a different combination of products in their bag. I’d seen many different posts on Instagram from friends who received their bag before me, so I was excited to see what I would get. My bag contained 7 products. It had a nice mix of products that I could actually use to complete almost an entire makeup look.
Natasha Denona Eyeshadow palette 4 – I haven’t used or swatched these eye shadows yet. They look beautiful and I’ll be using them this week. I’ll update on the quality and wear soon. Retail about $50
Wayne Goss brush 05 – I’ve used this brush and am in love with it! It’s perfect for applying my eye shadow to the lower lash line. Retail $20
Kevyn Aucoin Pure Powder Glow in Myracle is one of the brightest pink blushes I’ve ever seen. It’s one that can be applied sheer and is buildable. I think I’ll be able to make this wild color work for me. Retail $37
RMS Beauty’s Living Luminizer – I haven’t used this yet either. It’s a cream illuminator to use on the cheeks, brows and lids for a radiant sheen/healthy glow. Retail $38
It Cosmetics Hello Lashes mascara is one of my favorites, so I was thrilled to have a fresh tube. Retail $24
Charlotte Tilbury Red Lips cosmetics bag – This is a fun little bag to throw a few lipsticks into for my purse or travel. I wasn’t able to find a retail value on this bag. I’m assuming about $10.
A travel size bottle of Bioderma – a no-rinse micellar cleanser and makeup remover specially formulated for sensitive, normal to dry skin types. It’s a wonderful product. It’s nice to have a small package for travel. Retail $6.95
Verdict: I was satisfied with my bag. I paid $75 plus $5 shipping. My bag was worth approximately $185.95. However, I was wishing for some of the things that my friends received in their bags. Oh well, you can’t win them all!
Let me know if you snagged a Beautylish Lucky Bag this year.

I can not wait to hear what you think of those eyeshadows. I have been seriously dying to know if I need to make the purchase or not because they look ahhh-mazing!! I missed the boat on this bag. I’ve seen some amazing products that people have been getting and I need to remember to remind myself to get this when it’s available next year! You got a lot of products that I would have been really happy with!!! Enjoy!!

I tried them today, but was in a huge rush and didn’t use a primer. I’m thinking primer is needed. I’ll try again tomorrow… Stacie xo

You and I only got the Bioderma in common. I loved, LOVED the Beautylish bag – not only mine, but also everyone else’s. They’ve sent out some amazing things, but you are right – I’ve been coveting other people’s swag, especially Charlotte Tilbury bronzers! Waiting to hear what you think of Natasha Denona shadows.

Haha! I think most of us wanted something that someone else had. That’s the way women work. LOL! I plan to review the Natasha Denona palette in a few days, so be on the lookout. Stacie xo
