Subscription Boxes

Beauty Box 5

September 15, 2015

beauty box 5 subscription box

If you like getting subscription beauty boxes filled with beauty product samples in the mail, then this may be one you’ll want to take a look at.  It’s the Beauty Box 5.  It’s a monthly beauty box that contains 4-5 products each month.  The cost is $12 per month when paid monthly.  However, if you buy an entire year the cost goes down to just $8.25 per month.  What a great deal!  This post is the reveal for the September box.  Read on to see what was in the box…

Bellapierre Shimmer Powder in Snowflake: I feel like this is a repeat product that I received in a previous box.  It’s a pretty white shimmer that I like to use as a brow bone or inner corner highlight.  You only need a dab of product so this will last forever. Retails for $19.99

Elizabeth Mott’s Tint and Sass:  This is a liquid lip and cheek stain similar to Benetint from Benefit.  Deluxe sample size, which is great for travel.  Full size retails for $22.99

Harvey Prince Sincerely:  Mini roller of perfume.  The fragrance blends cedarwood, freesia and orange flower.  I put this on right away and thought it was a nice scent for fall.  Full size retails for $21.

Beautiful Nutrition Lemon Rinse Clarifying Hair Treatment:  I’ve tried products from this line in the past and like their nice refreshing scents.  This product is supposed to seal in moisture and prevent frizz.  I’m all about that!  Full size retails for $10.

Be a Bombshell Cosmetics Eye Crayon:  I received a bright turquoise blue eye chubby eye pencil in my box.  It would be something that I rarely use, but might use as an accent color at some point in time.  Retails for $14.00

This box had some fun things inside.  Again, some things I may not have tried had I not received them in this monthly box.  I feel like this is a good way to try products and also have the perfect travel size beauty products.  Let me know what you think.  Do you get this box?  Do you think it’s worth the $8.25 cost?  I’d love to hear your opinions.

May is skin cancer awareness and melanoma awarenes May is skin cancer awareness and melanoma awareness month. This is my reminder to you to wear your sunscreen every single day and get annual skin checks. Early detection is key to a good outcome.

Both of these products from Beekman 1802 are keeping my skin healthy, hydrated and moisturized, and most importantly, protected from uva and uvb rays from the sun.☀️ In fact, goat milk has 31 active ingredients that strengthen the skin barrier!🐐

Have you had your skin checked by a dermatologist in the last year? If not, please make an appointment now.

You can always use code Stacie20 on the @beekman1802 website for a discount. See the link in my profile or comment SHOP.☀️

This post is in honor of my mom who we lost to melanoma in 2012. She would’ve turned 83 tomorrow.💖😇

I’m sharing my Glow-Up Routine for Women Over 50 I’m sharing my Glow-Up Routine for Women Over 50 for a beautiful natural makeup look that enhances the beauty of mature skin and protects it from the sun. It’s makeup and skincare in one! I love a multitasker, don’t you?

What I used:
Universal Tinted Moisturizer: This is a lightweight tinted moisturizer with SPF 46 that gives sheer coverage and a natural glow. It nourishes and hydrates with hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and a high concentration of niacinamide (vitamin B3). It blends out perfectly for all skin tones.

Luminous Eye Corrector: This product comes in 4 peachy shades to cancel out under eye circles and darkness. It stays all day, doesn’t crease and gives perfect coverage without looking cakey. It has mineral SPF 41 to protect that delicate skin under the eyes.

Lip Silk: Deeply hydrating lip color that’s formulated with Squalane, Meadowfoam, & Peptides to nourish and soften lips without bleeding into lip lines. Available in 2 shades Soft and Bold. It has mineral based SPF 40 to protect lips from the sun and also from blue light.

These are fantastic skincare products that make you feel good in your own skin & they’re linked in my profile!💫

Sunday funny… Yes, this is how I think!🙃 The Sunday funny… Yes, this is how I think!🙃

The Costco parking lot is always so crowded and full, but a rainy day keeps lots of shoppers away so I could score a great parking spot right now.
