Wowza… When you hear people say that time flies, they aren’t kidding! As I write this post I’m celebrating another trip around the sun. It’s my 52nd birthday (February 12th). I cannot believe those words (or rather numbers) are coming out of mouth. I have a few goals for myself for this next year and I thought I’d share them here. This always helps me. It keeps me more accountable since the goals aren’t just inside my own head or inside a journal that nobody will see. Since I’m announcing them here for the whole world to see, then I have a better chance of sticking to them. Wish me luck!
This next year I plan to:
- Do some more volunteer work.
- Get on a better diet which will include eating less sugar and carbs
- I will purge a good percentage of the things I’ve hoarded over the past few years. This includes makeup, clothing and shoes. It really is ridiculous how much “stuff” I have.
- I will work to overcome some of my claustrophobia. It holds me back from certain things that are fun in life because I worry about being in situations that might set me off, so I just use avoidance more than I should.
- I’d LOVE to build all of my social media connections with people and have better interactions. Let me know if you ever have questions, suggestions or if there’s anything I can do to help you too.
- I’m going to make this next trip around the sun the best one yet!
