The Delectables Palette

August 21, 2015

Looking for a new eyeshadow palette?  I wasn’t either, but when I stumbled upon the Laura Geller Delectables palette while shopping in Ulta for something totally unrelated, I knew that there was no way I could leave the store without purchasing this one.  There are two options available.  One is cooler shades and one is warmer.  I got the one that’s warm which is “delicious shades of nude.”  That would be no surprise to most who know me because those are the types of shades that I wear most frequently.  The palette retails for $45 and can be purchased at Ulta and other places that sell Laura Geller.

This palette has 14 nude shades of Laura Geller’s new weightless baked eye shadow.  There is a nice combination of shimmery and matte shades.  You can apply these either dry or wet.  I like to use a combination of shadow colors on the lid.  I sometimes add a shadow to the upper and lower lash line as a liner, depending on the intensity of the look that I’m going for.  There is a small brush included with the palette which I have found useful for applying shadow to the lash line.  However, I find the brush to be useless for applying the eye shadow to the lid.

When purchasing this palette, the sales associate told me that she heard that these shadows might produce fallout.  However, I have not found that to be the case at all.  I’ve actually used all 14 shades by now.  I use a shadow primer on my lids to prepare them for the eye shadow.  The colors all apply smoothly and stay all day without a single crease.

Verdict:  I think everyone should own this palette.  If you like to wear nude shades and earth tones on your eyes you will love the versatility of the Laura Geller Delectables palette.  The options are endless!  To purchase the palette or get more information please click HERE.

I like to shout from the rooftops when I find good I like to shout from the rooftops when I find good beauty products that work well for my mature skin in hopes that others will discover them too.

Be sure to let me know if there’s anything you’ve been loving lately too.💖

Today I’m including:
•a body makeup product that helps cover, disguise and blur my dark spots from sun damage from too many years spent in the sun.

•an at-home FDA cleared fractional laser to improve the appearance of my skin and even help get rid of some of those dark spots. I’m using it nightly.

•a beautiful pink lipstick that is like happiness in a tube

•an excellent facial spf product that protects my skin when I’m outdoors. I purchased mine when I was in France.

•some tasty gummy supplements I’ve been using including a multivitamin and a gummy prebiotic and probiotic combo to keep my gut happy

•and a balm that works great for keeping my skin hydrated that I like to dab under my eyes and on the lines above my lips because hydration helps make fine lines look better/less obvious when I look in the mirror.

I’m feeling blessed and I hope you’re feeling the same as we kick off a new month.🩷

I’ve been using the Olay Micro-Sculpting Cream, and I love how hydrated, smooth and refreshed my skin looks and feels. Our skin changes as we age and keeping it moisturized with effective ingredients is one of the simplest ways I keep mine looking firmer, smoother, healthier and more radiant at 61 years old.

The @olay Micro-Sculpting Cream has triple collagen peptides, niacinamide and pro-vitamin B5 to support younger looking skin.

If you’re looking for dramatic results without taking drastic measures, then this is a moisturizer you will be impressed with. It layers beautifully under makeup and delivers lasting hydration.

Comment your skincare goals and save this reel for your next beauty shopping trip.♥️
