If you have ever watched one of my Favorites videos on Youtube, then you already know that my favorite foundation of all time is the Laura Mercier Loose Mineral Powder. I love the way it applies to the skin. It is a powder, yet it does not have a powdery finish. Because it is a mineral product it is suitable for my sensitive rosacea prone skin. In addition, it has an SPF of 15. That is not a high enough percentage for protection from the sun so I use sunscreen and or moisturizer with an SPF of 30 on my skin first. I love that this foundation has a physical sunscreen in it made up of 20% zinc oxide. This foundation makes me feel confident that I am getting nice even coverage and fantastic protection from harmful UVA and UVB rays. The color that I wear is called Real Sand. I have repurchased this product 3 times. The .34 oz container lasts for many months. It is available at department stores carrying the Laura Mercier brand as well as at Sephora for $35.
