A few weeks ago I received the T3 Twirl 360 Motion-Sensing Auto-Rotating Styling Iron to review. This fun curling wand is a game changer for me. I’m a person who’s not too coordinated and feel like a beginner when it comes to actually styling my hair (even at my age). I’m learning how to create gorgeous waves and curls with my hair rather than always straightening it with a flat iron.
The T3 Twirl 360 Motion-Sensing Auto-Rotating Styling Iron is a “one-of-a-kind gyroscopic curling iron that features patent-pending motion-sensing technology and an auto-rotating barrel to create beautiful curls and waves with a simple turn of your wrist. The Twirl 360 senses the movement of your hand and automatically rotates in the desired direction, forming polished perfect curls every time on any hair type.”
The barrel of this iron is made with T3 Tourmaline Technology which is supposed to “harness the optimal ionic, infrared energy from the Tourmaline gemstone.” I feel like this material really smooths the appearance of my hair and actually makes it shinier. It heats up quickly and consistently throughout the wand.
There really wasn’t a learning curve in using this styler. I simply took it out of the box, turned it on and started curling my hair. There are five different heat settings that you use according to your hair type. With my thick course hair I use it on the highest setting of 410 degrees. I simply clamp my hair into the iron, twist my wrist, then press the Go button. The iron automatically detects my wrist movement and turns itself in the proper direction until I let go of the button. The amount of heat used and the length of time that I keep my hair clamped determines the tightness of my curls. If I can do this then you can too! Verdict: This is definitely a great, easy to use curling wand. I recommend it for those with medium to long hair that can use a large size barrel on their hair.
