Bare Minerals Pop of Passion

The Bare Minerals Pop of Passion Lip-Oil Balms were introduced in stores a few weeks ago.  Being that I’m always on the hunt for the best moisturizing lip products, I had to get my hands on these.  These are different from regular balms in that they also provide a stain of color.  Combine a color stain and hydrating oil in one product and I’m all over it!  These retail for $16 for .11 ounce of product.  There are eight different colors in the collection.  I purchased mine at Ulta, however they can be purchased wherever Bare Minerals products are sold.

The website says:

Drench your pout in decadent hydration and plush, passionate color. This oil-rich formula delivers luscious color and slick shine with a comfortable color-stain. Melt-in moisture provides hydration while passion fruit seed oil with vitamin E helps nourish.

Punch Pop and Candy Pop

I purchased two of the brighter colors.  I have Candy Pop which is a bright neon looking pink and Punch Pop, which is a coral pink type of red.  The application is easy.  Simply twist up and then swipe the product on to your lips.

Verdict:  The products are quite moisturizing and leave a bright shiny color on the lips when first applied.  The colors that I chose are both very bright.  When the shiny finish wears off a stain remains on the lips for many hours lasting through meals and napkin swipes.  I recommend these if you’re looking for a moisture and stain in a single product.  You can click HERE to see more information on these products.
