If you’re a petite woman, then you know that finding fashionable clothing that is perfectly proportioned to fit your height and frame can be difficult. That’s why I want to introduce you to Petite Studio NYC. I’ve been wearing their clothing for a few years now and I’m always impressed by the fit, the quality and the beautiful styles. They consider their pieces to be slow fashion. As in, these are quality pieces that will remain in your wardrobe for many years to come, so they’re more of an investment.
More about the Petite Studio NYC brand…
I enjoy getting to know more about the brands I work with and the story behind Petite Studio is a good one. As mentioned in my previous post, Petite Studio was founded in 2016 by Jenny Wang-Howell, who owns the business with her husband. She’s the creative behind the brand, while her husband handles the business side. They’re based in SOHO in NYC. They produce clothing in small batches following current trends each season. This includes some signature styles that are their best sellers each season along with some new arrivals. Jenny understands designing clothing for petites because she herself is petite, as is her design team. She understands firsthand the struggles in finding clothing that properly fits a petite woman.
It’s easy to shop on the Petite Studio website. They have size charts for each clothing item and they’ve been very accurate for me. But just in case you have any issues with an item, they have free exchanges and easy returns. They offer FREE shipping for orders over $98. They also ship internationally for FREE for orders over $98 and for flat rate of $14 to most countries and $8 for shipments to Canada for orders under $98.
Today I’m going to share a few pieces from their Fall Collection for 2025.
Let’s start with the chocolate brown Debbie Suede Pencil Skirt. I love the longer length and the slit up the front for ease of movement. It’s a rich brown color that pairs well with pretty much any color in my wardrobe. It has beautiful white contrast stitching and patch pockets. I also love the large belt loops that can accommodate a variety of belts, include my wide brown belt. This ivory sweater is from last year’s collection, but it’s still a favorite of mine and I wanted to show how great the color is with the chocolate brown. The skirt is also available in other colors and fabrics including black and khaki green as well as a pretty checkered fabric.
I fell in love with the olive colored Brayden Alpaca cardigan the moment I laid eyes on it. It looks beautiful buttoned up or worn open over a tank or other top. It’s also available in a pretty ginger color. It has natural looking decorative buttons that cover functional snaps. And of course, both colors look amazing with the brown suede skirt or as shown below with denim.
I’ve paired the Brayden Cardigan with the Bentley Jeans. They’re a nice dark indigo wash denim and have a relaxed fit. They’re a cropped length, but the way they fit me isn’t really cropped. I feel as if these can be styled with sneakers for more casual days and with heels to dress them up a little for a lunch or dinner out. They’re also available in white in a straight fit.
The Carissa cardigan made of mohair and it’s so soft and feminine. I have it in the camel color and it’s also available in ivory. Either way, it’s beautiful with the pearl buttons and hidden snaps so they’re out of sight.
This new collection gets a 5 star rating from me. What truly sets the brand apart from other brands is their commitment to true quality. Every piece is crafted from premium fabrics, ensuring durability and comfort. They also emphasize sustainable fashion, opting for environmentally friendly materials and ethical manufacturing processes. Everything fits me perfectly when I used the sizing charts (I don’t get to say that too often). You’ll see me mixing and matching these items all season long and for years to come. If you or someone you know fits into the petite size category, I highly recommend that you check out their website asap!
