Hi petite friends! Do you struggle to find good quality clothing that fits your petite frame? I’ve solved your problem with beautiful clothes from Petite Studio. I recently discovered this brand and their specialty website. The quality and the fit of the items I tried are so impressive. The brand has a level of sophistication that’s unmatched with other petite clothing brands that I’ve tried. And trust me, I’ve tried a lot through the years.
As a petite woman, I know all too well the struggle of finding stylish pieces that flatter my body proportions. Most fashion brands design their clothing with the average height in mind, frequently disregarding the petite demographic altogether. Petite Studio is dedicated to serving petite women by offering a wide range of high-quality, trendy styles that fit and flatter small frames. They take all of our proportions into consideration when designing their clothing pieces. Each piece is tailored to flatter our proportions. I love that I can put the clothing right on my body without the need for alterations. Check out the styles and use my code Stacie25 for 25% off to try some new styles now.
About the brand
Petite Studio was founded in 2016 by Jenn Wang-Howard, who owns the business with her husband. She’s the creative behind the brand, while her husband handles the business side. They’re based in SOHO in NYC. They produce clothing in small batches following current trends each season. This includes some signature styles that are their best sellers each season along with some new arrivals. Jenny understands designing clothing for petites because she herself is petite, as is her design team. She understands firsthand the struggles in finding clothing that properly fits a petite woman.
The clothing
Let’s take a look at some of the styles that I tried from Petite Studio. They carry everything I needed for my Spring wardrobe update, from flowy, romantic dresses for date nights to sleek and professional looking pieces for important business meetings to lots of fun styles in between. The clothes have me stepping out in style and feeling confident while doing it. For reference, I’m 5’2″ and weigh 108 lbs with more of an hourglass shape.
The items pictured from Petite Studio were sent to me for review. All opinions are my own. Affiliate links may be used in the post.
The first thing I tried on is the Ambrose Dress in Watercolor. It’s a fully lined midi length dress with a pretty pastel floral print. As you can see, the sleeves are a sheer fabric making the dress perfect to wear throughout spring and summer. It’s a feminine style with a side slit. I’m sure I’ll be wearing this one to lunches, brunches and even to work meetings. It also comes in a pretty blue floral print. I’m wearing size Small.
Next up is the Bridgett Vest. I have it in the ivory color, but it also comes in fabulous denim version. I’ve been wanting to get a vest for a while now. This one is a great style that’s fitted in all the right places. It’s a lightweight cotton fabric that’s very comfortable. I’m wearing a size Small.
The beautiful Buvette Pearl Blouse is so unique. I have it in navy, but it’s also available in ivory and dusty blue. The pearl embellishment is removable for washing. The shirt is a viscose fabric that feels comfortable on and it drapes perfectly. The slight puffs at the shoulders and the sleeve details add beautiful feminine touches. I’m wearing size XS.
I knew I needed to add the red floral Carly Dress to my spring and summer wardrobe. It has beautiful button details on the bodice. The style is both feminine and sexy at the same time. The fabric is a soft polyester and the dress is fully lined with a slit at the side. I’m wearing size Small.
How pretty is the Helen Blouse? It’s an elevated look to a basic button down, with nothing basic about it. The covered buttons and the sheer material on the yoke and sleeves take this top to another level. It’s a mix of soft fabrics that need to be carefully cared for. I wear this with jeans, slacks and skirts. I consider this top to be a must-have. It’s also available in an ivory version. I’m wearing size XS.
If you like blazers, then the Jane Blazer is one that you’ll want to grab asap. You’ll wear it now and pull it out again and again year after year. It’s a menswear style that’s so unique. It has a rather boxy fit and the back of the blazer is longer than the front. You can see that I love to wear it with jeans and slacks. The blazer is wool and is fully lined. I’m wearing size XS.
The Tilly Cotton Blouse is one of my favorite tops for spring. It’s a nice ivory color so it goes with every single thing in my wardrobe. Dressed up or down, I reach for this one at least once a week right now. The fabric is cotton and the ruffled stand collar is so feminine. I’m wearing size XS.
My overall impression
Petite Studio gets a 5 star rating from me. What truly sets them apart from other brands is their commitment to true quality. Every piece is crafted from premium fabrics, ensuring durability and comfort. They also emphasize sustainable fashion, opting for environmentally friendly materials and ethical manufacturing processes. The only issue that I had was figuring out my size for each item. Everything is listed using centimeters, rather than inches. However, it was easy enough to convert the measurements (thanks to Google) so I can’t take off any stars for that one factor. Everything fit me perfectly when I used the sizing charts (I don’t get to say that too often). They get extra bonus points for no visits to the tailor needed.
