3 Favorite Vacation Outfits

Hi friends! As you know by now, I went on a fun vacation with my husband to celebrate my 60th birthday. Even though we stay in a place that has a full gormet kitchen, we prefer to eat out for our meals rather than doing the cooking ourselves (probably because we’re both terrible cooks). Most of the restaurants that we frequent are pretty casual. However, I do like to dress up just a little bit each night anyway. Below are some of the outfits that I wore on this particular vacation in Cabo.

The weather was a little bit cooler than one would expect from a beach vacation since it was in February. The daytime highs were only about 70 degrees and it got down into the upper 50’s and 60’s during most evenings. I really enjoyed these temperatures because they’re perfect for layering.

This was one of my casual daytime outfits for running around town. We went out to a beautiful beach and had lunch one afternoon followed by a trip to the grocery store for some snacks for the room. This shirt has gotten so many compliments. Unfortunately it’s sold out. My jeans are a soft denim with wide legs and a raw hem. They’re extremely versatile and comfy and come in regular and petite sizes. And you will see this bag in every single photo because I ditched my designer bag and carried this little pouch bag everywhere we went. It’s so cute and comes in lots of color choices.

I’ve shared these fun barrel jeans a few times already because they’re so good. I was extremely skeptical when it comes to this style. However, once I tried this particular pair, I was sold. I love them. They’re extremely comfortable and are right on trend. This light wash runs a little big so I sized down one from my usual 26 petite to a size 25 petite instead. These can be dressed up or down with the right top, shoes and accessories. And don’t miss this gorgeous heart pendant necklace that I gifted myself. I wore it often too as I love hearts.

I wore this dress for our Valentine’s Day dinner at one of our favorite restaurants. You can see that the front is ruched making for a flattering fit for most body types. The belt isn’t tied tight at my waist in this photo because this photo was taken after dinner and I didn’t realize the belt had come loose during a 2 hour dinner. Regardless, it’s a great dress.
