Where Have I Been?

Sorry that I haven’t been here in a while.  I’ve been limited on all of my social media these past few days. There are times when you just have to say, “What the heck” and just not worry about it.

We were in Austin, Texas with my son and his golf team for three days.  They were there for the state 5A golf tournament.  His team finished in 3rd place after two crazy days.  The weather pretty much did everything it could during the two days of tournament play.  There was hot and sunny weather followed by lightening and a storm which delayed play for a bit on the first day.  The second day had a fog delay and much cooler temperatures followed my a rather warm and muggy afternoon.  All in all it was nice to actually get away ALONE with my husband.  That hasn’t happened in a long time.  We figured that since we could get away for a few days we would take advantage of it.

Teeing off on Day 2 – the fog is still lifting I’m finally getting on my computer now after several days without it.  After walking about 6 miles each day on the golf course, all I wanted to do was bathe and sleep when I got back to the hotel.  I still need to get caught up on so much.  So, if I owe you an email or message or anything, just give me a few days to catch up with myself.
