One of the questions I’m asked most frequently is “What do you use to keep your hair looking so healthy?” Of course I do appreciate the compliment. My hair has always been thicker than anyone’s in the room. I’ve always hated it (we all want what we don’t have). However, as I’ve been experimenting more lately with highlights to disguise the incoming grays I’m starting to like my thick hair more. The only problem is that the bleach and other coloring formulas that are used tend to make my hair look and feel dry. Therefore, I need to moisturize and hydrate my hair to keep it looking good.
Sometimes the products that I use in the styling process give me a build up on my scalp. Getting sweaty during exercise contributes to the buildup on y hair and scalp as well. I recently started using a few products from the brand called Vegamour. They’ve been doing great things for my hair, so I thought I’d do a review of each for you to learn more about both the brand and their products.
After researching for information about the brand, I found that consumers adore Vegamour products so much because all they adhere to scientific standards and are vegan and cruelty-free. Despite only offering items online, they boast a large selection of effective serums for all hair types.
Vegamour GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum
The star ingredient in the line is a vegan protein substitute for traditional keratin, a natural component of hair, called karmatin. Many hair care companies use keratin from animal products, putting them off-limits to those who strictly adhere to a vegan lifestyle.
Even while I strive to make my hair regimen as simple as possible, I sometimes utilize a variety of products to boost the volume of my hair’s natural texture. Unfortunately, these solutions tend to rapidly make my roots oily, which is bothersome when flakes appear. I made the decision to try GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum for that reason.
The GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum by Vegamour has clinically proven ingredients that work together to gently remove the build-up and create a barrier that shields my scalp from damaging toxins.
Treatments that take a long time to complete have never been my cup of tea, but the GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum was fast and simple to use. After 10 minutes, I could just wash it out.
I began by making a rough section in my hair and applying the very lightly scented serum to my scalp. I liked that I didn’t need to wet my hair before using the product since the applicator delivered the product precisely where I needed it to go. I didn’t need to apply as much since the product has a thin and somewhat watery feel; a little goes a long way.
After applying the scalp treatment, I just relax and give myself a quick scalp massage with GRO Scalp Revitalizing Massager (review below). It’s a good time to just kick back and relax while the product does its magic.
Another major benefit is that it efficiently eliminates build-up and can even stimulate hair growth. The ideal setting for hair to thrive and begin its life in the healthiest form is a clean scalp.
Overall, I am glad to use Vegamour’s GRO Scalp Detoxifying Serum. My scalp feels fresh and clean and my hair is healthy looking. The process is quick, which we all know is a plus these days.
Vegamour GRO Scalp Revitalizing Massager
The Vegamour Scalp Massager is a terrific massage tool. The sharp bristles provide an energizing sensation and effectively cover the scalp’s surface area. I love to use this Scalp Massager while I wait for the serum to absorb. I feel like it helps to spread the product across my entire scalp.
Since Vegamour’s massager’s bristles are constructed of soft, bendable silicone, they can conform to the contours of your head. The massager feels like someone’s fingers are softly caressing your scalp. Additionally, holding it is incredibly comfy!
It turns out this massager has some really significant advantages. The bristles’ scalp stimulation increases blood flow, encouraging hair growth. The tool makes it easier to massage shampoo into your scalp, which I’ve always found difficult with my thick hair. Yes, even that rather difficult-to-reach spot where your head and neck converge.
I’d suggest combining the scalp massager with Vegamour’s Gro Hair Serum if you’re serious about promoting thicker, healthier hair along with a clean scalp. The use of these products has become essential to my hair washing routine.
Vegamour Pure Marula Oil
I can’t get enough of the Vegamour Pure Marula Oil. I like that it contains nothing but pure marula oil. It has an extra light scent that’s barely noticeable to me.
This product is a serious multi-tasker. It can be used on the hair to tame flyaways and add shine (I love using it on the ends of my hair). It can be use on the skin of the face or body. It can be used to give a healthy glow and to plump up those fine lines and wrinkles. Now that the weather is turning cooler and my hands need a little more TLC, I love to apply it on my cuticles too!
Vegamour’s Pure Marula Oil is brimming with Omega-3, -6, and -9 fatty acids. Compared to other natural oils like argan or jojoba, it also contains up to 50% more antioxidants. It is thinner than coconut oil, so it won’t clog your pores or leave your skin feeling oily.
Verdict:
All Vegamour products are 100% vegan, hormone-free, and cruelty-free. I advise you to check out Vegamour if you’re looking for vegan hair, skin, and nail care products that are extremely effective for everyone. I can’t wait to try more products offered by the brand.
