Several months ago I agreed to use the Slendertone Abdominal Belt for approximately 8 weeks. At the completion of 4 weeks I did a blog post and mid-program review and update of the product. That post can be found HERE. Now that the entire 8 weeks has passed, I’d like to do a final review on the product and share my thoughts.
This Slendertone belt is used to tone the abdominal muscles through electrical muscle stimulation. You simply place the electrodes in the correct position on the belt, wrap the belt around your abdomen, strap it into place and go about your business. The belt can be used by both men and women. It has 7 different programs and 99 levels of stimulation. The stimulation can be quite intense. I must admit that I’m quite the wimp and only made it up to levels 67-70 for most of my sessions. Anything above that started to hurt me and I’m not into pain.
The science behind this type of muscle stimulation has been used for many years in doctors offices and therapy centers. I had something similar to this years ago at a chiropractor’s office following an auto accident. You must use this product consistently along with a proper diet and additional cardio exercise to get the best results. However, I really do believe it works and I recommend it as part of your fitness routine. I will continue using it as part of mine!
I’m not into showing my abdomen at all after having 3 kids, but I think I look halfway decent for a middle aged woman. I will continue to incorporate the Slendertone Abdominal toner into my fitness routine. Have you ever used anything like this before? If so, what did you think?
honest opinion and are not influenced by anyone else.

I have never used anything like this for exercise but it reminds my of the micro current treatment I do on clients face and neck to help reteach the muscle and tighten the skin temporarily. Very cool!
