I’m embracing the cooler temperatures with styles and fabrics to keep me warm and right on trend this season. Everything I’m sharing is from one of my favorite clothing brands for petites, Petite Studio NYC. I wrote a post and shared some of their clothing from the Spring 24 season here on my blog You can see it here. If you haven’t heard about them yet and you’re a petite woman, you’re going to love their clothing! Every piece of clothing is proportioned perfectly for petite frames. The Winter collection is available now and also includes a capsule collection with Suggyl.
Here’s a reminder about the history of the Petite Studio NYC brand
Petite Studio was founded in 2016 by Jenn Wang-Howard, who owns the business with her husband. She’s the creative behind the brand, while her husband handles the business side. They’re based in SOHO in NYC. They produce clothing in small batches following current trends each season. This includes some signature styles that are their best sellers each season along with some new arrivals. Jenny understands designing clothing for petites because she herself is petite, as is her design team. She understands firsthand the struggles in finding clothing that properly fits a petite woman.
It’s easy to shop on the Petite Studio website. They have size charts for each clothing item and they’ve been very accurate for me. But just in case you have any issues with an item, they have free exchanges and easy returns.
I paired the Paisley Mohair Sweater in Dusty Blue with the Reign Wool Pants in Brownstone. This sweater is a beautiful and feminine style with the pearlescent buttons. It’s a mohair blend, is lightweight, warm and doesn’t itch. That makes it a winner for me. The pants are fully lined and couldn’t fit more perfectly. They’re really comfortable and can be dressed up or down. The only trick will be in washing them because they say to steam only. Therefore I will be sending them to the cleaners so I can keep them looking beautiful despite my not-so-perfect laundry skills.
Next up, I chose the Blanca Ivory Wool Sweater. It’s a medium-weight Merino wool that provides warmth and comfort. I love the collared style with the v-neck and the mixing of stitch patterns. I chose a size small for an oversized comfy look. I know that I will be wearing this with everything. For this look, I paired it with a pair of dark wash jeans. The Theo High Rise Straight Jeans are a fun style with the raw hemline and the button front closure. So cute and versatile to dress up or down.
For colder days, I have the gorgeous Harriet Double Breasted Wool Coat. It’s a beautiful tan color that pairs perfectly with everything. It has raglan sleeves and deep welt pockets. I don’t find that it’s not too heavy or constricting, even with heavier sweaters underneath. It’s another timeless style that I know I will wear for many years to come.
The entire winter collection from Petite Studio gets a 5 star rating from me. What truly sets the brand apart from other brands is their commitment to true quality. Every piece is crafted from premium fabrics, ensuring durability and comfort. They also emphasize sustainable fashion, opting for environmentally friendly materials and ethical manufacturing processes. Everything fits me perfectly when I used the sizing charts (I don’t get to say that too often). You’ll see me mixing and matching these items all season long and for years to come. If you or someone you know fits into the petite size category, I highly recommend that you check out their website asap!
