Osmosis Pur Medical Skincare is one of my all time favorite skincare lines. The entire line is based on remodeling and healing the skin without creating inflammation. This is done with a holistic approach. The recently launched Osmosis Skincare moisturizing collection is made up of four different products that can be purchased separately. This is exciting news to those of us who have dry skin. These new products are deeply hydrating and barrier strengthening that work to heal and repair dry skin. The new collection includes a cleansing balm, organic facial oil, restorative night crème and healing balm. You can add one or all of these products to your skincare routine as needed.
“The 4-piece line is rich in essential fatty acids, flavonoids, phytosterols, vitamins and minerals that feed the skin. Each Oncology Friendly product is designed to improve skin barrier health, function, and integrity to combat a nutrient-starved complexion. Loading the skin with anti-inflammatory ingredients, this will aid in healing and softening, while improving texture.”
I’ve been using all of these new products for over a month and I will tell you that if you have dry skin you will love these. Here’s my take on each product:
Lift Away Cleansing Balm – This balm is not like any other cleansing balm that I’ve ever used before. This is more of a whipped type formula rather than a heavy greasy type like all of the other cleansing balms I’ve tried. It is completely fragrance free. It rinses off my skin completely taking all of my makeup and any dirt with it. It’s gentle to the skin and can be used daily. Retails for $44
Ingredients -Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Persea Gratissima Oil, Decyl Glucoside, Coffea Arabica Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera Oil*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)*, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil, Sambucus Nigra Fruit Juice, Mangifera Indica Juice, Garcinia Mangostana Fruit Juice, Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract, Eucalyptus Radiata Flower/Leaf/Stem Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia Oil, Litsea Cubeba Fruit Oil, Citrus Nobilis Peel Oil, Citrus Sinensis Peel Oil, Allantoin, Ethyl Macadamiate, Tocopherol, Malic Acid, Coconut Alkanes, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Rice Oil Glycereth-8 Esters, Cetyl Hydroxyethylcellulose, C12-18 Alkyl Glucoside, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Dehydroaceteic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol. *Certified Organic
Nourish Organic Facial Oil is something new and different to me. This product can be used on its own or added to a moisturizer. I’ve used it both ways. It comes in a nice pump for easy dispensing. The product is a green color and kind of looks like olive oil to me. I’ve used this oil both mornings and evenings when I need extra moisture. It absorbs into my skin and doesn’t interfere with makeup application. This is the only product that has any sort of scent to me. It’s more of a botanical type of natural scent from the ingredients. Retails for $54
Ingredients – Persea Gratissima Oil*, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil*, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil*, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil*, Lavandula Officials Flower Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil*, Rubus Fruticosus (Blackberry) Seed Oil, Rubus Idaeus Seed Oil, Citrus Paradisi Peel Oil, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil. *Certified Organic
Enrich Restorative Night Cream – This night cream is wonderful when you need a dose of moisture while you sleep. I’ve mixed it with the facial oil from time to time. I’ve used it during the daytime too. This night cream has a smooth feeling and is slightly emollient, but is not as thick as the healing balm shown below. Retails for $65

Remedy Healing Balm – This balm is rather thick and emollient. It has a very faint scent from the natural ingredients. The scent dissipates quickly. The healing balm can be used as a sleeping mask to provide the skin with intense hydration. It is formulated with anti-inflammatory and healing agents. It can also be used on post-treatment skin. I look forward to using it for this purpose in the future. In the meantime I’ve been using it on my dry skin patches. Retails for $55

Osmosis Skincare is a line that I am quite fond of. I’ve been talking about it here on my blog and Youtube channel for a few years now. I introduced you to the line and did several followup posts as well that you can find if you do a search in my sidebar. All of the Osmosis Skincare products can be purchased online at Dermstore and SkincareRx, Skinstore, as well as from select aestheticians.
Verdict:
Since I started using the Osmosis Skincare moisturizing collection I feel like my skin is less dry in appearance and looks more plumped up and healthy. I recommend the products from this line if you have dry skin. It’s skincare that you will feel confident about using. Visit the Osmosis website to learn more about these products as well as all of their skincare, makeup and wellness products.

I’ve used several Osmosis products that have been great for my skin. I’m on the dry side though not ultra dry and they’ve been great for hydrating my skin.
