Fix Your Dry Skin with New Products from Osmosis

May 4, 2018

Osmosis Pur Medical Skincare is one of my all time favorite skincare lines. The entire line is based on remodeling and healing the skin without creating inflammation. This is done with a holistic approach. The recently launched Osmosis Skincare moisturizing collection is made up of four different products that can be purchased separately. This is exciting news to those of us who have dry skin. These new products are deeply hydrating and barrier strengthening that work to heal and repair dry skin. The new collection includes a cleansing balm, organic facial oil, restorative night crème and healing balm. You can add one or all of these products to your skincare routine as needed.

“The 4-piece line is rich in essential fatty acids, flavonoids, phytosterols, vitamins and minerals that feed the skin. Each Oncology Friendly product is designed to improve skin barrier health, function, and integrity to combat a nutrient-starved complexion. Loading the skin with anti-inflammatory ingredients, this will aid in healing and softening, while improving texture.”

I’ve been using all of these new products for over a month and I will tell you that if you have dry skin you will love these. Here’s my take on each product:

Lift Away Cleansing Balm – This balm is not like any other cleansing balm that I’ve ever used before. This is more of a whipped type formula rather than a heavy greasy type like all of the other cleansing balms I’ve tried. It is completely fragrance free. It rinses off my skin completely taking all of my makeup and any dirt with it. It’s gentle to the skin and can be used daily. Retails for $44

Ingredients -Water (Aqua), Cetyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Persea Gratissima Oil, Decyl Glucoside, Coffea Arabica Seed Oil, Cocos Nucifera Oil*, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter)*, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil, Sambucus Nigra Fruit Juice, Mangifera Indica Juice, Garcinia Mangostana Fruit Juice, Pyrus Malus Fruit Extract, Eucalyptus Radiata Flower/Leaf/Stem Oil, Lavandula Angustifolia Oil, Litsea Cubeba Fruit Oil, Citrus Nobilis Peel Oil, Citrus Sinensis Peel Oil, Allantoin, Ethyl Macadamiate, Tocopherol, Malic Acid, Coconut Alkanes, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Rice Oil Glycereth-8 Esters, Cetyl Hydroxyethylcellulose, C12-18 Alkyl Glucoside, Glyceryl Stearate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearic Acid, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Potassium Sorbate, Citric Acid, Dehydroaceteic Acid, Benzyl Alcohol. *Certified Organic

Nourish Organic Facial Oil is something new and different to me. This product can be used on its own or added to a moisturizer. I’ve used it both ways. It comes in a nice pump for easy dispensing. The product is a green color and kind of looks like olive oil to me. I’ve used this oil both mornings and evenings when I need extra moisture. It absorbs into my skin and doesn’t interfere with makeup application. This is the only product that has any sort of scent to me. It’s more of a botanical type of natural scent from the ingredients. Retails for $54

Ingredients – Persea Gratissima Oil*, Simmondsia Chinensis Seed Oil*, Olea Europaea Fruit Oil*, Helianthus Annuus Seed Oil*, Lavandula Officials Flower Oil, Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil*, Rubus Fruticosus (Blackberry) Seed Oil, Rubus Idaeus Seed Oil, Citrus Paradisi Peel Oil, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil. *Certified Organic

Enrich Restorative Night Cream – This night cream is wonderful when you need a dose of moisture while you sleep. I’ve mixed it with the facial oil from time to time. I’ve used it during the daytime too. This night cream has a smooth feeling and is slightly emollient, but is not as thick as the healing balm shown below. Retails for $65

Ingredients – Water (Aqua), Phosphatidylcholine, Glycerin, Ethyl Macadamiate, Prunus Armeniaca Kernel Oil, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Maltodextrin, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Rubus Idaeus Seed Oil, Sodium Stearoyl Glutamate, Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate, Cholesteryl Oleyl Carbonate, Rosa Canina Fruit Oil*, Citrus Aurantium Bergamia Fruit Oil*, Mangostin, Terminalia Ferdinandiana Fruit Extract, Swertia Chirata Leaf Extract, Sambucus Nigra Flower Extract, Vaccinium Angustifolium Fruit Extract, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Linum Usitatissimum Seed Oil, Aniba Rosodora Wood Oil, Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil, Cholesteryl Chloride, Cholesteryl Nonanoate, Tocopherol, Ascorbyl Palmitate, Citrus Limon Peel Oil, Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Leuconostoc/Radish Root Ferment Filtrate, Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Alcohol, Xanthan Gum, Sodium Gluconate, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Caprylhydroxamic Acid, Alcohol Denat., Benzyl Alcohol. *Certified Organic

Remedy Healing Balm – This balm is rather thick and emollient. It has a very faint scent from the natural ingredients. The scent dissipates quickly. The healing balm can be used as a sleeping mask to provide the skin with intense hydration. It is formulated with anti-inflammatory and healing agents. It can also be used on post-treatment skin. I look forward to using it for this purpose in the future. In the meantime I’ve been using it on my dry skin patches. Retails for $55

Ingredients – Ricinus Communis Seed Oil, Butyrospermum Parkii (Shea Butter), Hydrogenated Castor Oil, Squalane, Water (Aqua), Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Coco-Caprylate/Caprate, Coconut Alkanes, Glycerin, Corn Starch Modified, Epilobium Angustifolium Flower/Leaf/Stem Extract, Glycyrrhiza Glabra Root Extract, Hippophae Rhamnoides Extract, Prunus Serotina Bark Extract, Prunus Cerasus Extract, Prunus Avium Fruit Extract, Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract, Ruscus Aculeatus Root Extract, Peumus Boldus Leaf Extract, Aesculus Hippocastanum Seed Extract, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Lavandula Angustifolia Oil, Cananga Odorata Flower Oil, Panthenol, Hydrolyzed Yeast Protein, Behenyl Behenate, Tribehenin, Hamamelis Virginiana Water, Alcohol Denat., Alcohol, Potassium Sorbate, Fragrance/Parfum*. *100% natural fragrance

Osmosis Skincare is a line that I am quite fond of. I’ve been talking about it here on my blog and Youtube channel for a few years now. I introduced you to the line and did several followup posts as well that you can find if you do a search in my sidebar. All of the Osmosis Skincare products can be purchased online at Dermstore and SkincareRx, Skinstore, as well as from select aestheticians.

Verdict:

Since I started using the Osmosis Skincare moisturizing collection I feel like my skin is less dry in appearance and looks more plumped up and healthy. I recommend the products from this line if you have dry skin. It’s skincare that you will feel confident about using. Visit the Osmosis website to learn more about these products as well as all of their skincare, makeup and wellness products.

I’m sharing my Glow-Up Routine for Women Over 50 I’m sharing my Glow-Up Routine for Women Over 50 for a beautiful natural makeup look that enhances the beauty of mature skin and protects it from the sun. It’s makeup and skincare in one! I love a multitasker, don’t you?

What I used:
Universal Tinted Moisturizer: This is a lightweight tinted moisturizer with SPF 46 that gives sheer coverage and a natural glow. It nourishes and hydrates with hyaluronic acid, vitamin E, and a high concentration of niacinamide (vitamin B3). It blends out perfectly for all skin tones.

Luminous Eye Corrector: This product comes in 4 peachy shades to cancel out under eye circles and darkness. It stays all day, doesn’t crease and gives perfect coverage without looking cakey. It has mineral SPF 41 to protect that delicate skin under the eyes.

Lip Silk: Deeply hydrating lip color that’s formulated with Squalane, Meadowfoam, & Peptides to nourish and soften lips without bleeding into lip lines. Available in 2 shades Soft and Bold. It has mineral based SPF 40 to protect lips from the sun and also from blue light.

These are fantastic skincare products that make you feel good in your own skin & they’re linked in my profile!💫

I recently went to the Southlake, TX location of S I recently went to the Southlake, TX location of Skin Pharm for a little Dysport refresh with the incredible Rebekah.💖

I really appreciate her knowledge and skill, but what impresses me the most is the way she listens to my concerns about my aging skin and she does everything she can to help make me feel more confident.

She educated me on the latest products and treatments available and we decided together that Skinvive is something that I might want to try in the future. Have you heard of it? It purely for hydration and not for volume.

You can see my highlights with my previous treatments at Skin Pharm too.

Skin Pharm is a clinician-founded, female-led cosmetic dermatology practice with locations in several states including TX, GA, NC, SC and TN.

Oh, and their skincare products are amazing! You can purchase them right from their website too! I highly recommend their cleansers, the eye sculpt cream, the Youth Serum and the new Face Whip.💫

✨Right now they’re running a special where you get FREE cleanser AND Crystal Clear with any treatment through 5/30/25.✨

Book your appointment at @skinpharm asap so they can take care of you too!
