Hi Everyone! Just in case you haven’t seen my social media posts announcing my newest blessing, I thought I’d share my news here on the blog with you. About a month ago or so I was reading my monthly Oprah Magazine while soaking in a nice hot bubble bath. I noticed that there was an application for influencers to become an O Insider and be a part of the Oprah Magazine Inner Circle. I filled out the application and forgot about it (my life is pretty busy these days).
I’ve had a subscription to the magazine forever (alternating between hard copies and digital issues). I’ve always felt like the magazine speaks to my inner self that needs speaking to. The content makes me think a little deeper. It makes me more aware of issues in our world. It inspires me to be a better me. Of course it has just enough fluff (beauty, fashion and ads) to appeal to the rest of me as well.
Last week I received an email telling me that I was one of only 50 people (mostly women – I think we have one male in the group) chosen to be in this exclusive group. We are the groundbreaking group. We’re told that we’ll be reviewing products, doing videos, getting invitations to events and more. That’s all I know right now.
I feel beyond blessed to be among this amazing group of women who are collaborating together. In honor of this new opportunity or journey that I’m on I’d like to wish everyone a Happy International Women’s Day!
