Are you doing some traveling this summer? I have a few trips planned, including one to the beach. I’m going to be honest though, I’m not really a fan of summer travel because most tourist destinations get so crowded and I’m not a fan of crowds. I prefer to either go to less popular destinations or save my travel for the fall or spring when kids are in school so less people are traveling. With this being said, when my husband asked if I wanted to take a last minute vacation to Cabo, I said yes without hesitation. We’ve been there many times and pretty much know where to go to avoid the crowds. I thought it would be fun to do another post sharing some of my travel essentials since I haven’t done one in quite a while and the things that are important to me now have changed a bit.
My Travel Essentials
Organizer Bags for chargers, headphones, etc. I’m all about trying to stay more organized these days. These are fantastic at helping me have a place for everything.
Cable Organizer // Hard Electronic Organizer // Earphones Organizer
Containers for beauty products – I prefer to travel a little lighter to repackaging some of my beauty products into travel friendly containers.
10pcs Makeup Travel Containers // Magnetic Travel Capsules // 16 Pack Travel Bottles
Sleeves for beauty products to keep them from leaking in luggage. If you’ve had a bottle of shampoo or a cleanser leak in your bag, then you know exactly why I recommend this clever invention. I wish I’d known about these a long time ago.
8 Silicone bottle covers
Folding reusable shopping bag(s) – I can’t tell you how often I’ve gone shopping in another city or in another country and went to check out, only to discover that they don’t provide a bag for my purchase.
Set of 6 Shopping Bag // 3 pack Shopping Bags
A lightweight wrap – I don’t leave home without a wrap to keep me warm on the plane or in cold restaurants. This one is my favorite. I have it in 3 colors and I gifted it to several friends this past year.
Knit Wrap
Eye sleep mask – I sleep better when I wear an eye mask to keep out unwanted lights that may be on in the room from clocks, alarms, etc. And of course, if you’re on a long haul flight, it’s nice to have a comfortable eye mask that doesn’t squash your lashes.
Silk Mask // 3D Eye Mask
Packing cubes – These are game changers in packing more compactly and in a more organizer manner.
Option 1 // Option 2 // Option 3
Air Tags with holders to track my belongings. I started using these last year to keep tabs on luggage and golf clubs after our items didn’t make it to our destination with us.
Apple AirTag // AirTag Holder
Laundry stain stick (Tide and Miss Mouth) – I am the queen of wearing white shirts and pants and spilling some high stain food or drink onto them the very first time I wear them, therefore I always travel with effective laundry products.
Tide Stain Remover // Miss Mouth’s Stain Remover
Travel steamer – Rather than use an iron, I prefer to steam my clothes to get the wrinkles out. This one is my current favorite.
Travel Steamer
Tripod with remote – I like to have a travel friendly tripod to help us take photos while at home and on the go. This is a great way for everyone to be in the photos so nobody’s left out.
Phone tripod with remote // Tripod Selfie Stick // Gooseneck Tripod
iPad – No matter where I go, my iPad goes with me. I use it for everything these days (journaling, planner, books, music, Netflix, social media and more). I recently purchased the new iPad Air 11″ with the Apple pencil pro and am LOVING them!
Apple iPad Mini (6th Generation // Apple iPad Air 11″ // Apple Pencil Pro
Lululemon Crossbody Bag – No explanation needed. This bag holds all of my essentials close to me, whether I’m out shopping or taking a hike.
Crossbody Bag
Foldable Beach Bag – I like to bring a foldable bag in my suitcase so that I can take my beach or pool essentials with me when we’re on the go.
Foldable Bag
Cute Compact Umbrella – You never know what Mother Nature’s going to dish out, so it’s best to be prepared. This compact umbrella takes up almost no room in my suitcase and has saved me and my hair many times.

I hope my recommendations for travel essentials was helpful to you. Let me know if there’s anything that you don’t leave home without.

Great list, Stacie! ✈️ I love how you’ve curated your travel essentials—it’s sure you’ve got packing down to an art. Your recommendation for a portable charger is spot-on; it’s such a must-have! One tip I’d add is packing a lightweight scarf—it’s versatile and can be utilized as a blanket, pillow, or even an accessory. Thanks for sharing your must-haves!
