Welcome to my Friday Favorites! This week I loved every single product that I used. However, there are just a few things that really stood out for me and I enjoyed using from my makeup collection. Let me know if there are any products that you’ve been loving.
My Favorite Beauty Products for the week
Colorescience Sunforgettable SPF 30 Powder Sunscreen – This powder sunscreen is so cool. I apply my regular sunscreen and foundation and the rest of my makeup most days. Then as a finishing powder I apply this powder sunscreen. It comes in spf 30 and spf 50. I have the spf 30. I keep this is my car and reapply throughout the day. I highly recommend this sunscreen.
OPI Gel Nails Manicure – I’ve been getting the gel manicures for just the past few weeks. I go to a salon that uses an LED light for the curing process. I don’t use UV light/lamps because I know that those are not good for us. I had been using the CND Vinylux (Lobster Roll is my favorite color) and the new OPI Infinite Shine Polish (It Never Ends is my favorite color) for the past year, until now. Those are great too and don’t need any light/lamps for curing the polish. The later two are considered to be weekly polish. They’re good if you don’t mind getting manicures more often.
Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Powder – I recently got this in a Becca Cosmetics kit that I purchased at Ulta. This powder is gorgeous and is multi-tasking. I’ve been using the Rose Gold shade. I use it on my cheeks and on my lids for my favorite eye shadow color. It gives a beautiful natural color that is gorgeous for year round wear.

My Favorite Maxi Dresses – Especially for Petites
TFS Stacie, I love your Friday favorites posts! I have tried the Vinylux and Infinite Shine and like them both. I have been doing my own gel manicures at home for over 3 years now with the Couture Gel Polish line. (www.couturegelnailpolish.com). They are fabulous products and are safe from the bad chemicals. The kit includes an LED light and all you need to get started. I can go 3 weeks and the shine is as perfect as day one, with no chipping at all! I usually do my nails every 2 weeks because I see the nail growth but sometimes if I’m really busy I may go 3 weeks with lighter colors. They are a local company here in the North Bay Area where I live and are women run. Their customer service is wonderful. Just thought I’d share as there are so many gel products out there, but I love Couture and know they are safe and I love supporting small businesses. xo
