I’ve been using a new product in my skincare regimen for the past month. It’s a Vitamin C Serum from Cosmedica Skincare. I use it twice a day following my regular cleansing routine. This is a 20% Vitamin C serum that also contains other ingredients such as Vitamin E and Hyaluronic Acid. This is the maximum percentage of Vitamin C available without a prescription. Vitamin C is an essential component in the skincare routine to repair damage and help improve brightness and clarity, especially in aging skin.
Vitamin C is also known to stimulate the skin’s cells into producing collagen, which in turn will improve the elasticity. Hopefully this will help wrinkles disappear and skin will appear tighter. Vitamin C also helps to even out the skin tone and reduces dark spots and other damage that may have occurred through the years. There are additional herbal extracts in this serum which provide anti aging skin benefits as well.
The 1 ounce bottle currently sells for $22.95 on their website. That is a great deal! Cosmedica Skincare also has a Hydrating Night Cream and a Hyaluronic Acid serum that I will be incorporating into my skincare routine as well. Future posts will review these products. Go to their website and have a look around. They have a 30-day, money-back, no question-asked guarantee on their products so you have nothing to lose!
It is very simple to add a vitamin c serum into your skincare routine. After I wash my face (both morning and evening) I squeeze several drops of the serum onto my fingertips using the dropper. I pat it all over my face. After the product has absorbed I continue on with my routine. This might include moisturizer, prescription products, sunscreen, etc depending on the time of day.
As a result of this product I see my skin looking brighter and basically happier. I’ve only used it for a month now, so I’m excited to see how my skin will appear over the course of time. I recommend this product to all women. I think a good Vitamin C serum should be a part of everyone’s routine.
