Target, Smooth Lips & A Giveaway

Do you love to shop at Target?  I’m a huge fan and have been forever.  I go to Target for necessities and I go to Target for a few frivolous things from time to time.  I could spend hours there just by myself on a single visit.  How about you?  On a recent shopping trip for cough medicine for my husband who had the flu (but acted like he was dying) I picked up some of the new ChapStick® Total Hydration products and  hit the Dollar Spot for a few goodies as well.  It’s only fair that I get to have a few treats since I’ve had to endure the drama at home for two weeks, right?

New ChapStick products – some are exclusive to Target

The ChapStick® Total Hydration Conditioning Lip Scrub is the latest innovation from ChapStick.  This lip scrub gently exfoliates and conditions leaving lips feeling silky, soft and smooth.  It’s formulated with naturally sourced ingredients, including sugar crystals, maracuja and coconut oil, shea butter and vitamin E.  It has a peppermint flavor.  I like flavored scrubs.   To use this one you massage a small amount on to wet lips in a circular motion then rinse or wipe off with a damp cloth.  Easy to do and it makes a big difference for my lips.

Chapstick Total Hydration

I keep ChapStick on my night stand.  It’s the last thing I apply before I go to sleep and the first thing I do in the morning.  This keeps my lips hydrated year round which is important for more than one reason…  I need smooth lips for pretty lipstick application and to kiss my hubby (when he’s not sick, of course).

    I really want to try the new Total Hydration formula in merlot. I like tinted lip balms especially during the colder months.
