Hi Friends! As an influencer, it is always a compliment and a great feeling when a brand that you LOVE reaches out to you to see if you’re interested in partnering with them. This happened to me while I was sitting in a casino in the Bahamas with my hubby back in December. I was checking my email and had one from cabi telling me about a potential partnership. I was SO thrilled because I’ve shopped and LOVED this brand for over a decade. I signed on to be an ambassador starting with the Spring 2022 collection and I’m so excited to share everything about the brand, the clothes, the opportunities and more with you over the next few months.
Let’s get started with some information about cabi:
The brand was founded 20 years ago by fashion designer Carol Anderson and management consultant Kimberly Inskeep, and ten friends, and was originally named “Carol Anderson by Invitation”. It’s now known exclusively as cabi. Cabi is known for their personalized shopping experience. Women can get together with friends and or have a personal style session with a cabi stylist to discover their style and build a wardrobe. There are currently over 3500 stylists throughout the US, Canada and the UK. It’s a network of amazing women who truly are the epitome of women supporting women. Since this year marks the 20th Anniversary for cabi, I have a feeling they have some pretty cool things planned.
The brand also gives back through The Heart of cabi Foundation, where the mission is to empower women in need around the world. The foundation works to empower women through restoration, vocation, and education. Ways to help contribute to this wonderful cause include:
- When you purchase the Heart of cabi item from the collection, a portion of the sale goes to the foundation.
- For every new stylist that joins cabi, they will fund a small business loan in her name for a woman entrepreneur in a developing country.
- When placing a cabi order, you can opt to round your order total up to the nearest dollar or pound. The change you give provides hope and opportunity to children in Rwanda through Opportunity International by contributing to their education and futures.
cabi Spring Collection – Part 1
The Spring collection from cabi is just beautiful. I could probably put together a different outfit to wear for months without having to repeat anything twice. If you’re not already familiar, they design their clothing items to pair back to previous seasons and to future seasons, so you’ll be mixing and matching for years to come.
Each collection has several different capsules or groupings that make it easy to pair your clothing items together for great looking outfits. The collection that I’m going to share first for you is this gorgeous one that’s filled with beautiful shades of kelly green. I picked some of my favorite pieces and put together a little capsule board for you below. There are actually many additional pieces that go together with these items too. In addition, you can obviously wear them with anything from your current wardrobe that you want to pair them with, including some of your vintage cabi items.
Items in my cabi Spring capsule above: Circuit Jacket, Wisdom Earrings, Essential Top, Park Cami, Hi Low Crop, Wisdom Necklace, White Skinny, Bloom Top, Race Windbreaker, Plait Belt
How fun is this outfit? Like I said before, the pattern mixing that I can do with cabi clothing items is out of this world. I was always afraid to mix patterns. I’d never even considered mixing floral and plaid together. Not any more! When I shared this outfit on my Instagram, I had so many compliments and comments about the fun pattern mixing. Now I’m looking in my closet to see what else I can put together.
Below are a few more photos of me in these beautiful items. As a petite 5′ 2″ with a usual size of 4-6, I’ll be sharing more on how the items in the Spring collection look on me vs what you often see on their tall, thin models online. I find cabi clothing to be very size inclusive. This season, 20 of the items are available in sizes XXS – XXL. I love that!! Be sure that you’re signed up for my email list and/or follow me on Instagram to see more.
