This post is my reveal of the Beauty Box 5 for May, 2015. I receive the box for review each month and love sharing the contents with you. This monthly subscription box sells for $12 per month is you do their monthly subscription plan. It goes down to $8.25 per month if you order an entire year. I’ve been getting this box for about 18 months now. Most months I really enjoy the products that I’m sent as I receive beauty products that I’ve never heard of previously.
This month’s box has a theme of S.O.S. or Super Outstanding Skin. The box has five products designed to be a 1-2 punch of complexion saving finds. These include skincare as well as makeup.
This month’s box contained products that I know I will use up. Most are perfect for travel. The only item that doesn’t agree with me is the Essence hand soap in French Lavender. I just don’t care for lavender fragrances. I was rather impressed with the sample size blush highlighter stick. It gave a lot of color payoff and looks very natural on my cheeks. The eyeshadow brush is good quality and pretty basic for applying color to the lids. I haven’t tried the Dermalogica product out yet. The tweezers are nice to have a small size pair for tucking in a travel bag. Overall this month’s subscription box was good, it just didn’t have anything that overly impressed me.
