I knew this day was coming… My middle daughter is off to college now. Yes, it’s only about 30 minutes from home and my other daughter goes to the same college. However, when she’s living in the dorm on campus it doesn’t matter how far it is. My house is quiet and it’s only been a few hours. LOL!
So what have I accomplished in the past few hours after she pulled out of the driveway? I wrote a blog post, edited a new YouTube video, washed my makeup brushes, snacked, caught up on Twitter and Instagram and had a nap (only a 10 minute power nap). That’s a good amount as far as I’m concerned.
My husband travels a lot for his job. My son will either be at school or the golf course starting next week. Both girls are at college. I think I’ll be getting in a lot of “me” time starting very soon. I plan to get back in shape, learn to cook and do some volunteer work.
Life is beautiful!
