Maybelline Push Up Angel Mascara Review

October 7, 2016

I love trying a new mascara to see if it might be my new holy grail product.  I love discovering holy grail products at the drugstore even more.  Drugstore products are more readily available and they cost a whole lot less than those at specialty stores and departments stores.  I saw an ad for the new Maybelline Push Up Angel Mascara and headed over to Walgreens to pick it up.

Maybelline Falsies

First off, Maybelline has several other mascaras in their Falsies line.  You must admit, the name of this one sounds more like a Victoria’s Secret super bra than a mascara.  The promise of pushed up lashes sounded quite promising to me.  The mascara is under $10 retail at all drugstores, Ulta, etc.

The unique curved brush of the Push Up Angel mascara

You can see in the photo above how the mascara performed on my lashes.  One eye has the Maybelline Falsies Push Up Angel mascara and the other eye has no mascara at all.

Verdict:  I was so confused at first when opening this mascara and seeing the oddly shaped brush.  I had to read the package to see if there were any hints on how to use it.  The brush is curved and has bristles on only one side.  I felt physically challenged to use it at first.  With that being said, the mascara was easy to apply and I thought my lashes looked much longer than they really are.  They had a nice wispy appearance.  The mascara stayed put all day and was easy to remove with any of my standard eye makeup removers.  I will continue to use this mascara and think it’s definitely worth a try.

What do you think?  Will you be trying the Maybelline Push Up Angel mascara any time soon?

I’m always looking at drugstore mascaras and will keep this in mind when a sale is going on. I see a big difference in your lashes.

Their fundraising tournaments were filled with hope, connection, and support for those facing cancer by providing free, one-on-one support to cancer patients and their loved ones. 💙

Are you or someone you know is facing a cancer diagnosis? You can learn more about this amazing organization or donate, by visiting cancerhopenetwork.org today!

Cancer Hope Network provides free, confidential, one-on-one emotional support to people impacted by cancer — including patients, survivors, and their loved ones.

* 🤝 Personalized Matching: Matches are based on factors like diagnosis, treatment type, age, gender, and personal concerns — ensuring relatable and meaningful connections.
* 💙 Support for Everyone: They offer support not just for patients, but also for caregivers, family members, and friends who are navigating a loved one’s cancer journey.
* 💯 Always Free & Confidential: Services are available at no cost, nationwide, regardless of insurance or treatment center affiliation.

Cancer Hope Network’s mission is simple but powerful: “No one should face cancer alone.”
