I’m still trying to decide if I’m happy that it’s my birthday or not… Today I am 49 years old. That is just a year away from 50 (obviously). As a child I thought that any age above 30 was old. However, as I’ve aged, the number associated with “old” age has increased in my mind. My cousin sends me a text message every year on my birthday that says “Happy Birthday! Keep getting older.” He’s definitely right!!
Age is just a number, right! I’m doing all that I can to live a happy and healthy life (most of the time). I’m trying to keep my appearance looking as fresh as I can with a little tweak here and there as well as exercising at least 4-5 times a week. An occasional dose of botox, good skincare products, some mascara and a pretty lipgloss or lipstick are the things I like the most because they boost my confidence/self esteem. Of course I love my foundations, cc creams, bronzers and blushes too.

Happy Birthday! You look gorgeous! You look younger than I do, and I’m about to turn 37 (in a week and a half!) I just can’t believe how young I still feel. When I was a kid, I expected to feel tired and ready to die at this age! So funny.
