I recently organized all of my beauty samples. When I needed a cleanser last week I pulled out the Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser that I received as a sample from Sephora. I was in the mood for a cleanser that would do some exfoliating. I didn’t want anything abrasive but wanted my skin to have that thoroughly cleaned feeling.
The Tata Harper website describes this product as follows:
This gentle exfoliating cleansing treatment acts as a 4-in-1 product to thoroughly cleanse and improve glow while purifying, minimizing the appearance of pores and helping to protect the skin’s natural hydration balance. Free of soaps, alcohols and detergents, this cleanser clarifies with fresh enzymes, clays and essential oils, while microspherical beads polish the skin and reduce appearance of blackheads – all without stripping the skin of moisture. Skin is left feeling balanced, hydrated and glowing.
Some additional information from the website:
- Apricot Seed Powder gently and effectively exfoliates the skin to reveal smooth and glowing new skin
- Pomegranate Enzymes dissolves debris and blackheads, while reducing the look of pores
- Willow Bark is a natural form of salicylic acid, helping to fight breakouts and reduce redness & inflammation
- French Pink Clay detoxifies the skin, stimulates circulation and helps reduce pore size
Verdict: This product is for all skin types. I have combination skin that can be sensitive however this product didn’t irritate or dry my skin out. The exfoliating effect is nice and gentle. This cleanser is definitely scented. It had a lemon-lime type of scent to me that I found very pleasant and refreshing. I liked this product so much that I will be purchasing a full size bottle. The 1.7 ounce size is approximately $38, which is a bit expensive. I will probably wait until Sephora has their 20% off sale to make my purchase. You can check out the Tata Harper Regenerating Cleanser as well as her entire skincare line which is all natural, non-toxic, paraben and sulfate free.
