What’s better than a fun shopping experience? Shopping with friends in a fun, relaxed environment, of course! As I’ve mentioned before, cabi is one of my long-time favorite clothing brands. I started working with them as a brand ambassador this Spring. This opportunity allows me to help share the brand and their mission with all of you and I’m honored and excited to do that! You can read my previous post here.
I went to a cabi Fashion Experience on a recent Sunday afternoon with my daughter. We enjoyed refreshments, saw a presentation and tried on some beautiful clothing items from the current collection and purchased our favorites. If you’ve never been to one of cabi’s in-person Fashion Experience’s, I’m going to explain it for you.
The cabi clothing brand has individual Stylists. When you attend or host a show, the Stylist walks you through the latest Collection. She talks about the different clothing items in a good amount of detail and shares some pairing ideas within the collections. During the show, you can follow along in the Look Book or in the app on your phone called cabi Tap. Your stylist can help you find items that she thinks may look good on you, as she’s very familiar with all of the items. Since the stylist has all of the items in the collection right there with her, you get to touch, feel and try on whatever you want. The stylist helps with appropriate sizing recommendations as well. You place your order at the show and wait for it to be delivered. Like I said earlier, we went to the show on Sunday and my order was already shipped on Tuesday. Talk about almost instant gratification!!
Each season is divided into several different “collections.” I have one of the groupings shown below for you called Enchanting. You can see how different items pair together to make complete outfits. In addition, cabi carries certain elements or colors from one season to the next so that you can easily put items in your closet together for years to come.
What I wore
I always like to wear my cabi clothing when I go to shows. I wore the Go-To Blouse. (size small). It’s a beautiful top that can be worn so many different ways. I wore mine front tucked. It’s also so cute when worn knotted on the bottom. This particular blouse is the “heart of cabi” item from this season’s collection. A portion of the net proceeds from the sale of the Go-To Blouse will help fund The Heart of cabi Foundation’s efforts in our local communities. How beautiful is that?!
I also wore my favorite High-Low Crop Jeans. I like them because they’re so comfortable. They’re described as, “this cut features a wide waistband with a double-button closure, fitting slim through the waist, hips, and thighs. With light abrasion and a raw, kick flare high-low hem.” Cabi has featured this style in other colors through the past seasons and everyone loves them.
I adore all of cabi’s accessories each season. I wore my Mission Necklace and Plait Belt to the Fashion Experience. The Mission necklace is extra fun because you can wear several different ways. I wore mine doubled. It’s also really beautiful when worn as a long necklace. I paired it with the gold and pearl Wisdom Earrings, which I wear a few times a week. The Plait belt is a nice toffee brown braided leather with a big brass buckle. I’ve been wearing it on repeat all season.
Why should you attend an in-person Fashion Experience?
Going to a Fashion Exeperience is like a private shopping party with the opportunity to get opinions from your expert Stylist, your friends and your family about clothing items that look good on you. Your friends will be honest in helping you choose styles that may be more flattering on you. I tried on about 12 different tops (because that’s what I lack in my Spring wardrobe) and modeled most of them to get the opinions of what others felt flattered my body and coloring. It was actually really fun to hear what others thought. In addition, it’s nice to be able to touch and feel each item in person. And let’s not forget the delicious food, bloody Mary’s and mimosas!
Ready to host a Fashion Experience at your home?
Most women love fashion and would love to have a personalized styling experience. It’s so easy to host a cabi Fashion Experience at your home. If you don’t already have a stylist, you can go to the cabi website and enter your zip code to find one in your area. Someone will contact you to set it up. Next you just send out email invitations, buy some refreshments and get ready to connect with your girlfriends. The host even earns rewards and discounts. Or maybe you’re considering a side gig or new career? You can check out the opportunity to become a Stylist yourself over on the cabi website. I think this would be so much fun!

I just love the idea of this Stacie. It’s so fabulous to get to try on the pieces and have someone else help you with styling.
