As you all can imagine, I tried a bazillion different beauty products throughout the past year. I enjoyed nearly every single item that I tried. Obviously, some were bigger hits for me than others. I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorites with you. I may need to do this in categories since there are so many products. I think we’ll start with mascara first.
I am always on the hunt for a good mascara. I purchase them very regularly. I have purchased inexpensive drugstore brands and very high-end department store brands. Let’s be honest though, there are some inexpensive ones that are just as good or better than the expensive choices. I was always told that mascara is one beauty product that you don’t have to spend a lot on. I definitely agree, although I’ll probably always purchase both.
As a new rep for Avon I’ve been purchasing a lot of products for review. I had both hits and misses, especially in the mascara category. However, their Mark Lash Act mascara is one of my absolute favorite products from Avon. This is a wetter type mascara formula. I absolutely love it and will be repurchasing it often. You can read my full review HERE.
Now for a few high-end mascaras that made my favorites list for 2015.
The YSL Volume Effet mascara that came in an Influenster Vox Box for review makes my favorite high-end mascara list this year. Despite the large wand size, which was a little hard for me to work with, it gave me gorgeous lashes. Full review HERE.
Also making my favorites list for at least the past 4 years is the original Lancome Hypnose mascara. This is a “go to” mascara for me. It builds both volume and length without clumping.
It Cosmetics Hello Lashes is a great mascara. It has a ball on the tip on the wand for getting into your hard to reach lashes. No flaking throughout the day and removes easily. This mascara is what they call a 5-in-1 formula that is a volumizing mascara, conditioning lash primer, lash-enhancing serum, lash tint, and a lash comb/curler all in one product. What more could you ask for?
